Specialty Lifting in NYC

A bronze sculpture for a plaza. A marquee sign over a theater entrance. A safe that's been in the basement since 1931. Some loads don't fit a category, and those are the calls we like best. If it's heavy, awkward, valuable, or all three, this is the page.

The company contractors call when the job is complicated.

What We Lift

Loads that don't fit a category

Sculptures & public art

Monument-scale sculpture moving and installation: pieces craned onto plazas, rooftops, and pedestals with artists and conservators.

Signs & marquees

Sign and marquee installation lifts: building signage, theater marquees, and rooftop letters held while the sign crew sets them.

Safes, vaults & ATMs

Safe and vault movers for the densest objects in any building, moved in or out, including the ones older than the elevator.

Rooftop amenities

Water features, planters, trellis structures, and the pieces that turn a roof into an amenity deck.

Antiques & one-of-a-kind objects

Antique moving and one-off installs: irreplaceable pieces rigged with conservator-level care and insurance to match.

The uncategorizable

If you're not sure who to call for it, that usually means it's ours. Send a photo and find out.

The first questions we'll ask you

What is it, and what's it worth?Weight and dimensions matter, but so does what the object means. It changes how we rig.
Where is it now, and where does it land?Basement to plaza is a different job than truck to roof. Photos of both ends tell us most of it.
What can touch it, and what can't?Some loads take a strap anywhere. Some allow contact at four blessed points. We ask before we rig.
Who else is involved?Artist, conservator, sign crew, structural engineer. We coordinate with whoever the object brings along.

Then we plan it like a critical pick, because to you, it is one.

Specialty lift questions

How do you price a lift for something unusual?
Photos, dimensions, weight if you know it, and both locations. Unusual objects get a conversation, not a form response, and complex ones get a site visit before we commit to a number.
Can you lift something nobody knows the weight of?
It happens more than you'd think, especially with old safes, statues, and sculptures. We estimate conservatively, rig with margin, and verify before the load leaves the ground.
Do you work with artists and conservators?
Yes, and gladly. They know the object, we know the physics, and the best specialty lifts happen when both are in the plan. For gallery and artwork installation, see our fine art installation service.
Can you install signage with our sign crew?
Yes. We lift and hold, your crew fastens and connects. Sign companies are regular partners on marquees and building signage.
What about insurance for high-value objects?
Fully insured, and for exceptional pieces we'll review coverage against the object's value before the lift so nobody discovers a gap afterward.
Is any load too weird?
We haven't met it yet. Worst case, we'll tell you honestly that a job needs something we don't do, and point you to who does.

Got something unusual to move?

Send photos of the object, both locations, and anything you know about its weight and history. We'll tell you how we'd lift it, what it costs, and what could go wrong, before anything leaves the ground.
