Push Around

Push-around lifts for rent. Manually positioned vertical lifts, sometimes listed as a one man lift or push-around mast lift. No drive motor, so the operator moves the machine by hand and then elevates.

The lightest way to get a single worker safely to height indoors, and the easiest to move between floors. Available daily, weekly and monthly. We can supply an operator in New York City and the surrounding area; further out it goes as a bare rental.

Common questions

Why choose a push-around over a self-propelled lift?

Weight and cost. With no drive system the machine is lighter on the floor and easier to move in and out of a building, which matters on finished floors and in lifts.

Can one person operate it alone?

Yes, that is the design. The operator positions the machine by hand, sets it, then elevates.

How much notice do you need, and what about site paperwork?

On a bare rental the constraint is availability, so tell us the dates and we will confirm what is free. Two things worth sorting early either way: many managed buildings require a certificate of insurance naming them as additional insured, so check their requirements before the day, and if you want us to run the lift rather than just supply the machine, permits can add time. Our permit breakdown covers what a given lift triggers.
